My name is Jae Melwani. I am fifteen and spend my time playing sports, eating food, hanging with friends, eating food, reading, and did I mention…eating food? I’ve always used reading as an escape from reality. When I was younger and most kids were playing video games, or on their devices, I was reading a book, and that continued as I got older. If I’ve had a long day, or even just want to pass time, my paperback has always been with me, and every time I pick it up, it makes me forget about what’s currently happening. Books make people feel all sorts of different emotions, and I’ve always found that fascinating and amazing.
