Kaz is a criminal, but more importantly, a genius, He finds himself in a bad situation and the only way out is to break into the Ice Court and rescue a scientist who has a secret serum that could destroy the world. If he can do it, the prize is an enormous sum of money, but the risk is as well. Kaz decides this is his only option so he starts assembling a crew. His crew is full of criminals, magicians, and fighters who are all outcasts, but specialists at their own different things. This book twists and turns in a crazy fashion, and tells a really amazing story.

Katniss meets Peeta Mellark, the boy tribute from her district, and they take a different approach than many of the other tribute pairs. Katniss and Peeta must decide who to trust and in the end, are faced with an impossible decision.
